MI:Ghost Protocol * * *

Ethan Hunt is on a hunt again. And this time around he is on his own as the Impossible Missions Force i.e. IMF has been abolished by the American Government after the Kremlin is bombed during one of their missions. Some other secret agency piggybacks on their communication frequency and it makes Team Ethan the apparent culprit of Kremlin chaos.

As a response to this, the American government initiates the Ghost Protocol wherein Ethan is supposed to work secretly without any help from IMF and if caught, will be arrested with the allegation of terrorist attack on Kremlin. The cinematography and the action sequences filled with ultra-cool technological innovations take the MI series to a altogether different level. The sequences shot inside the Kremlin and the building act in Dubai is just breath taking.

The Indian connection i.e. Anil Kapoor has been given an ephemeral role of a lustful Indian Billionaire who gets ass-kicked all over. But people seemed to be really happy that at least some Indian actor could make it all the way to a mainstream Hollywood movie with Tom Cruise. So much so that some of them proudly clapped out loud.Way to go Anil Bhai! Although it seemed more like a molestation of his grandeur.

The movie is super-paced and cruises all the way towards the end and eventually turns out to be a one-man show. This one of MI, seemed more like a Bond flick, but the sad part was the absence of bond girls. But who the hell cares for a skin-show when you have Tom Cruise pulling off impossible acts defying the very principles of gravity. If you like action, cool gadgets and of course Cruise, then accept the Mission.

This review will self-destruct in 5 seconds.....   :D
