An hour long cruise off the coast of Southern Italy from Porto Di Napoli, and you reach the most beautiful Island you would ever see, Capri. With its pandora like untouched landscape, you almost feel like Columbus. Stumbling upon a heaven, unintended.
On the western side of Capri, there is place all strive to see. Inside one small sea cave along the coast, you get to witness the unprecedented beauty of day light illuminance. The small entry for the cave is the only source for the light to enter. And since the passage is too tiny, so much so that you literally have to lay down flat on the boat, mostly light enters from beneath the surface. Inside, the blue water shines like a pendant. The roof is pitch dark. Everything else too. It's only the blue water that one sees. Those rowing the tinny boats are all singing perhaps to avoid collisions. What a beauty, you are, Blue Grotto.
