Roman Empire, not ruins

He was the tallest Secutos Gladiator of them all, his golden armour shinning like the sun, symbolising his omnipotence. With his hammer-like hands, he wielded a giant sword. The crowd was exhilarated with the anticipation of valor. Their cheers were only silenced by the clamorous roar of the lion who came out from the dungeon. The Roman emperor gestured. The Gladiator games were now in course.
"Now open your eyes" said the tour guide. "One must visualise all these things here. That's like meditating your way back to the Roman Empire. And the place helps. And that thousands of people are doing the same helps. That's the only way to feel the grandiose of this colosseum. Otherwise it's just ruins".
