We were enrote Roma Termini on foot from our Hotel. Walkathon through the city is perhaps the best way to know her. And be it the urban landscape or the country side, they are all so walk-friendly here.
Midway there was an enclosure which read 'work in progress' blocking the entire footpath as some construction work was going on. But alongside they had made another narrow enclosure exclusively for the pedestrians sacrificing a little road space. The high priority and infrastructure for walkers is something we need to replicate back home.
