To promote the idea of Cleanliness and Personal health, we organized
a Clean Tezpur Run on the eve of Independence Day. I am glad to share
that more than 800 people participated in the run and thus pledged to
promote cleanliness in the City. Like every other run, we had made
provisions of Water stations at several points in the route. These
stations were also provided with boxes to be used as dustbins.
In spite of the cleanliness fervor in air and the arrangements made, few participants littered the road, a chain reaction resulted and the rest need not be mentioned. This highlights the quintessential nature of Citizen's role in Good Governance. Logistics may be provided for, but your cooperation is indispensable. Take a moment and think about how important your part is.
